Review both games of a doubleheader.

Treat each game as its own scheduled contest with a date, start time, division, field, and required positions. Check plate and base coverage for both games rather than assuming the first game’s crew covers the second.

Review availability windows and overlapping work before assigning the same umpire twice. Allow for your association’s expected game duration and travel between fields; an open calendar slot is not a promise that an earlier game will finish on time.
